Re: Langnoppe Death von Metal TT
Dear Tengelman,
Thank you for your comments about the video.
I have read that you have written that I keep the racket " upwards" to make the block but watching the video again I don't agree, I think that the racket is straight to the left, or left diagonal.
I do that when I block on my opponent backhand (on my right) so it is natural to put the racket in a quite diagonal position.
Even playing with a not pimplel rubber, blocking to opposant backhand is done like that.
I will not be able to block with pure upwards racket position.
I hope that it will help you
Best Regards
Marco

Vornehmlich JOOLA. Jemand einen Tipp?

Re: Langnoppe Death von Metal TT
Bonjour Marco!
Thank you for your answer.
Here is a photo of what I mean:
As you can see the Player to the left has his racket completely horizontal.
Your racket Points slightly upwards.
(Of course, I am not talking about the movement of the racket or the arm or wrist)
Et encore with Google-Translation:

Dear Tengelman,
thank you for your reply and for your pictures, now is easier to understand.
The most important difference between that 2 pictures is that the player on the leff is not behind the ball and is racket is completly outside of his shoulders line so he is forced to put the racket in a straight left position and I sometimes do the same when I am tired and I don't move my legs fast.
If you check my position my legs are flex, I am completly behind the ball and behind my racket so to send the ball on my opponent backhand side (on my right) I need to put the racket in diagonal position (I still think that is not vertical) as a player using a classical rubber or a short pimple.
I just want the the ball hits my racket as flat as possible to generate a massive inversion, the player in blue on the other hand will use his entire harm to make a bigger movement (almost attacking) with a active movement.
I definitely suggest you to be behind the ball in all situations, for blocks, after your oppnent service and for attacks and move your legs fast to be in the right position.
In this position I think you will be able to put the rubber as I do with the right feeling.
I hope that is understandable and feel free to ask for any further information

Achso was mir gerade noch so einfällt.
