Langnoppe Death von Metal TT
Moderator: Noppen-Test-Team
seines Jahrgangs in Frankreich gehört.
enorm an Spielstärke gewonnen.

Hello,
This is Marco Faso the owner and developer of new brand " Metal TT".
I am sorry but I don't speak German but I hope the most of you understand English and maybe somebody will translate.
I am a long pimple player since 1997 and I used to play in Italian second division (A2 league) and now I live and play in France, but I am not seriously training anymore as you can see in the video that somebody have shared here in the forum ( where I am overweight).
I would like to provide you some information about the long pimple "Death".
"Death" is the result of the passion and the patience of 3 people of whom I who worked during 2 years to develop and test dozens of created prototypes.
Our technical team is formed by: a classic defender which plays far from the table, a technician/engineer and me.
Each brought his experience, I've personally always played close to the table blocking and smashing.
Since the use of the plastic ball I began to loose ranking points in particular last year and I realized that inverted effects will not be the same, and I got the motivation to create the best long pimple rubber for the plastic balls.
"Death" is already a well known in Italy and France.
I don't want to bother you with technical information, also because I think that every long pimple producer says that we finally have the magic rubber, that it is like the old frictionless, inverting like the old superblock, and good in attacks too.
That's IMPOSSIBLE!
What it is possible is to have a slow rubber, with quite inverted short and down blocks; effects not sensitive and (for that reason) adapted for sudden attacks. (Due also to vertical pimples alinement).
Here you have what people are writing in French an Italian Forums (we have today 600 comments in french forum "Death" post), the 3 most important characteristcs:
1) "Death is really lightly affected by opponent's effects that allows you to be aggressive after opponent service and in general attacking cut balls with a lateral left/right movement.
2) When you block top spins, the ball is (but not comparable with frictionless rubbers) inverted and it's short and with a definitly short trajectory, the balls stays down.
3) " Death " it is really good with not too elastic blades, the best will be a allround blade with fibers (carbon or glass). I don't suggest you to put it on really slow def and elastic blades.
In France very different kinds of players have adopted it, most of them like me, playing close to the table, some classic defensive players (with 0.5mm sponge), but some people that used to play with antispin and medium pimples as well; that was a nice surprise for me.
If Google translator says right, some of you, after seeing a video where I am playing training with " Death" rubber have written that I was playing with frictionless rubber but I give you my word that it is not true.
I respect everybody opinion but it will be stupid and shameless to make a video with a modified product.
Some of you have also seen a video where a young french player use "Death". He is playing with a OFF+ TSP blade, and I am playing with ALL"Black" Metal TT blade, obviously our technic is not the same and the balls are different. He is also playing with butterfly balls and I was playing with Cornilleau ABS balls.
So if you'll try a" Death Metal TT" rubber ox, on a " Black Metal TT" blade, with Cornilleau ABS balls on a Cornilleau 740 table, you will understand what I mean.
Please take a look to those 2 new short videos where we both play with " Death " rubber in official competition: (in the second video please be concentrated on the ball and not on my enormous belly... :=)
